Complexity
It refers to the different types or layers of aromas you get in the wine. A red wine revealing only a red fruit flavour like strawberry will not be considered as complex. On the contrary a wine revealing black fruits aromas such as blackberry and blackcurrant, some floral aromas such as violet, some vegetal aromas such as green pepper, and some animal aromas such as leather and musk will be called complex.
