VERY GOOD

A wine presenting a good intensity of flavours on the nose, with good complexity great balance between acidity, alcohol and tannin (for reds only) and a good length of at least 5 seconds. Aging between 1 and 10 years.

Examples: Northern Rhone Cote Rotie Cuilleron from France, Hunter Valley “Graveyard Vineyard” Shiraz from Australia.

OUTSTANDING

A wine presenting a great intensity of flavours yet with elegance, fantastic complexity, amazing balance and length of at least 7 seconds. Aging between 3 to 15 years.

Examples: Clos Vougeot Grand Cru Domaine Robert Arnoux from France, Solaia from Tuscany Italy.


PRESTIGE

A rare wine, from the most sought after vineyards in the world, with long aging. Length of at least 10 seconds.

Examples : Ridge Monte Bello from California USA, La Tache from Domaine de la Romanee Conti France.
